Aquitas takes its name from the Latin ‘aequitas’, from the concept of justice, equality, or fairness.
In ancient Rome, it would refer to either the legal concept of equity, or fairness between individuals. We bring the spirit of this to our corporate oversight and care delivery by providing economic stability for investors while providing care and social justice for older Australians.

Philippa Lewis
Chair
Philippa Lewis is a professional company director, CEO and corporate advisor in the global health and aged care industries.
As a strategic futurist, she is an innovation and technology specialist. She has founded multiple companies in the healthcare and aged care sectors, publicly listing companies locally and offshore, and has had a successful track record in M&A.

​Philippa has served on many listed, private and industry led boards as Executive Director, NED and Chair. Her robust experience in governance and strategic capital management as well as her senior executive experience underpins her board positions and operational expertise. As a start-up and founding entrepreneur Philippa has extensive product development, commercialising medical devices, software applications and disruptive digital technologies within aged care.
​Philippa currently serves as Non-Executive Chair of Imunexus Therapeutics Ltd, NED with the Global Centre for Modern Ageing and is NED of the Halo Technology Group (ASX: HAL).
Ian Hammer
Non-Executive Director
Ian is a director, executive and specialist advisor. As an experienced executive with a significant history of working in healthcare, investment banking and law, Ian is an entrepreneurial professional skilled in strategy development, M&A, business development, partnership development and execution, innovation, general management and finance.
​
He has served as Executive General Manager, Mergers, Acquisitions and Strategy for a national full continuum of care aged care business, securing $45 million of private equity investment into the home care business, and oversaw the successful merger of three NFP HACC providers in metropolitan Perth.
Ian led Perth Property Investment Banking team at Rothschild Australia partnering with developers across the full scope of the property sector.
